We're hangin' in there thanks to YOU!!!! We can do this if you folks just keep voting every day 'til midnight September 19th!!

Just go to http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com and click on the "Shelter Challenge" tab on the right. Then click on Costa Rica for the country and click search. Click on Lighthouse and click vote!!! Then type in the letters/numbers that appear to confirm your vote!! That's all there is to it!! The next time you vote there should be a message just below the search thingy that says, "This is the shelter you voted for during your last visit. If it says Lighthouse then all you gotta do is click VOTE!! Ya don't have to search for it anymore after the first time!!

Mieko and Milana are at it again. They love to tease each other. They play a lot and prank each other all the time. Milan will grab a toy and offer to play tug-o-war with Mieko and then run away with the toy laving Mieko standing with her mouth open. Milana plays with Clem a lot too. They're close to the same size so they make pretty good playmates.

We have a GREAT volunteer here and Andre got a bath yesterday!! Her name is Christina and she's SUPER!!! She's from California.
We don't get volunteers very often so it's always a treat when we do!!

Mom said the races were really fun the other day. We're attaching a pic of Bro zip-tying the car back together after it got it's back end busted up. He's part of the pit crew.
