Lighthouse is a privately run rescue shelter operated by Frances and Bruce Jones....and of course me, Mr. BudBud. (I do MOST of the work but don't tell Mom and Dad I said that) It is located in the Atenas Costa Rica area. You can visit our blog at our web site at www.lighthouseanimalrescue.com.
We take animals from the streets and from abusive and neglectful homes. The animals are brought back to health, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and made available for adoption.
We are always in need of donations of food, towels, pet shampoos, medical supplies, bedding for the animals, and of course money.
Winning this international grant would be a real blessing for the animals we care for. The grant for an international shelter is $1,000.00.
It would purchase food for 6 to 8 months!!
