Dad got up this morning telling Mom he didn't sleep any last night because he had nightmares about taking in too may animals!! He was in a pretty surly mood. He dreamed they had a HUGE fight and that he left!!! He said, in his dream, Mom left too!!
Moms first question was, "What about the animals?"
Then a neighbor showed up with three 8 day old kittens whose mom has abandoned them!!
Mom went right to work warming the kittens and feeding them. (It was right in the middle of feeding time and I, Mr BudBud, actually had to WAIT for my breakfast!!)
She got all their bellies full and made the neighbor stay with her and help so she could show her how to do it.
We called a rescue friend in town who we thought might have a nursing mama cat but she says she won't have one until next week.
Mom gave the neighbor some formula we had here and is going to buy more formula tomorrow. She asked the neighbor if she could take the kittens back home with her and nurse them but the woman says she has to work from 6:00 in the morning until 6:00 at night. She won't be able to feed them or care for them. So Mom is gonna have to do it if we can't find a foster who will do it fo
WHOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!! We just got a call from a friend who offered to foster the kittens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you GOD!!!!!
Mom is still busy with Mirri and and all us other furkids, (there's 20 of us right now) and she was really worried about having the time and energy to take care of these little ones.

Miss Mirri is getting SOOO spoiled!! She gets to stay out in the view room a lot and she has figured out which door comes inside the house. When she gets bored being out there she comes to that door and barks at Mom and scratches on the door!! She bounces when she barks and her front feet come up off the ground!! She's SUCH a cutie!!
She's getting stronger and stronger and her last blood test came back GOOD!! WAGWAGWAG!!!
Yesterday a neighbor came over to ask us something and he saw all the water apples on our tree. Before he left he and his little nephew picked a BUNCH to take home with them.
In just a few minutes our gate bell rang and there was like 8 kids and three adults at our gate with bags!!! They all wanted some of our apples.
Mom told them to help themselves and they practically cleaned the tree off!!
Another few minutes went by and they rang the gate bell again. This time they had a little bag of baked goodies for us as "thanks" for the apples.
We haven't talked to the ANGEL who is fostering the kittens yet today. Mom's gonna talk to her after we finish my reminder.
They sure are cuties. Y'all please say some prayers and send some positive energy for them AND for Aunt Debby!!!
