Miss Mirri is happiest when she's in someones lap!! She goes right to sleep and doesn't even move!! She's doin' real good but her sight has not come back. Mom says that's ok though as long as her new mom loves her!!
Mom's gonna take her to the vet today to get another blood test and see if her anemia is finally fixed. Her ears seem to be MUCH better and she is jumping around like a puppy!!! So she's feeling MUCH better than she did when she came here and she's gained a POUND AND A QUARTER!!!!!

The orphaned kittens are finally all back together!!! YAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! The little one that was brought to Mom cried a LOT, even when it's tummy was full and Mom said it was looking for it's mama and it's litter mates. Yesterday, Debby, the lady who was fostering the three others, brought them over to Lee, another cat rescue person, and Mom brought the one kitten to join them. When we put the one kitten in with the others it immediately snuggled in and got quiet. That was SOOOO great!!! wagwagwag
We are hoping for a surrogate mom for them but if that doesn't happen then Lee will raise them on bottles. She has done it lots of times so Mom is not worried at all!!!

In case some of you don't know....China is sending poisoned treats to the US and the american companies are selling them to the public under their own brand name. Those treats are killing dogs. PLEASE don't buy ANYTHING made in China.
China has sent poison stuff that has killed children, older people and THOUSANDS of pets. They just don't seem to care. And the US gvt doesn't seem to either otherwise they'd make the stores pull these things off their shelves.

Check all the labels. Even if it says it's "made in the US" it still might have ingredients from China. Call the companies that make them and ask them if they buy ingredients from China.
Mom says if we would all just STOP buying anything from ANYONE who buys from China then maybe the US would wise up.

If you are giving your dog these please take them back to the store. Check the shelves and see if they are still selling them. If they are ask them HEY!!!!! WHY ARE THESE POISON TREATS STILL ON YOUR SHELVES?"
Mom says stand in front of the dog treat isle and YELL the question up to the cashier!! That way LOTS of people will find out about it!! (Mom can get pretty loud when it comes to protecting us furkids)

We don't get lots of treats but sometimes Mom makes us some. She just saves leftovers from their food and when she has enough she puts it in the blender, adds a little water, and makes mush out of it. Then she adds some flour  and makes a dough out of it. She cuts them up in bite size pieces then she cooks 'em in the oven on a cookie sheet at a real low temperature, about 250, for a long time til they are crunchy!! We LOVE them!!!!

It's rainy season and, in the afternoons, when it starts raining, Dad takes a nap and so do all us furkids!! Yesterday MOM even took a nap!!! We were all amazed!! Mom NEVER lays down during the day!! But after the kitten was gone, and she saw how happy they were all being back together, she relaxed a LOT and just kind of melted into bed. WAGWAGWAG!!!
