Exciting Day Yesterday!!!

Hi Everyone!!!

We had a very exciting day yesterday!! A photographer from Boston Mass. came to our shelter and took pics of all the canine type furkids!!! We all had SUCH a good time!!!

The dogs all felt like the paparazzi had arrived!!! Here's a shot I took while they were working with Mr. Fox!!!

The photographers name is Kaylee and her business is called Dog Breath Photography. You can see some of her work at this link!!!

She does some AMAZING work!!! We can't wait to see all the shots she took of the fuzzbutts here!!!
Here's one she took of our view!!!

Thank you SOOOO much, Kaylee, for choosing our rescue kids to photograph!!

Daughter Joray and I are heading to Nicaragua tomorrow to look at some property. We truly love Costa Rica.....but things are getting SO expensive here we are looking at alternatives. Hopefully we will be able to stay here in this gorgeous country but we are looking ....just in case.

Update 7-16-14

Sad news. We lost sweet Bess after the birth of her pups. She had an infection and had to have the pups by C-section. She passed away due to after surgery complications.

She gave birth to 7 beautiful puppies and all but two have now been adopted.

The remaining two are adorable little boys who are waiting for their perfect, loving homes.

We have gained a new rescue at Lighthouse. Her name is Lady and she is a beautiful, friendly 3 year old shepard mix.  She gets along great with other pets and will give you unconditional love.

And of course, sweet Donna is still available for adoption. She is a purebred Golden Retriever, about 4 years old, very good with all animals and loves people.

Dolly is still with us and has grown quite a bit!! She is still looking for the perfect pet home

She's as sweet as a lamb!! LOL!!

Of course our new human arrival (our grandson) is doing great and we just MUST include some pics of him!! Joe is now 8 months old and growing like a weed. And no, he is not up for adoption. LOL!!
